    Italians and Greeks

If you’re a fan of al dente pasta, sourdough pizza or souvlaki, you’ll find dishes in Valencia’s international restaurants that will make you close your eyes and feel as though you’re on the shores of the Mediterranean.

San Tommaso is one of them: artisan pasta and pizza made with care and quality products.

A more rogue proposal? Head to Mamma Pazzo, where you’ll find a menu that reinterprets Italian tradition with a modern twist.

Now it’s time to talk about Kuzina, a Greek dining experience that stays true to olive oil, Aegean spices and its most time-honoured recipes.

    American cuisine

If you’re the sort of person who enjoys a good burger, crispy fried chicken and a nice cold beer, Valencia has plenty to offer.

Hundred Burgers’s dishes have long been ranked among the best in the world: premium ingredients, handmade bread and combos that take the classic burger to a whole new level.

There are three locations in the city (Cortes, Gran Vía and Blasco Ibáñez) and Jenkin’s have earned their reputation through hard work, serving generous portions; a popularity they share with Fun-Tastik for their tapas, which are creatively presented on giant ceramic plates.

Sharing? Cheeck’s is the place to go if you want a piece of chicken that’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and served with a cold beer.

And if you’re looking for a classic that has been a benchmark for American food around the world for decades, Hard Rock Café is a must-try.

    Grilled meats

Meat lovers will be delighted by Valencia’s selection of steakhouses, where the unmistakable aroma of grilled meat reaches your table before the menu does.

El Porteño is the undisputed go-to spot for fans of Argentinian cuts such as entraña, vacío and ribs. It shares this reputation for excellence with Cruz Pampa and Taller de Carnes, other renowned establishments specialising in domestic and imported meats chosen for their exceptional quality on the grill.

    Asian and fusion cuisine

From Japanese haute cuisine to the most adventurous fusion cuisine, the flavours of the Far East have long had a place in the city and continue to add new names to the list of international restaurants in Valencia.

Momiji, in the Colón Market, serves high-end Japanese cuisine; Hotaru, meanwhile, offers sushi and dishes that seem like masterpieces of precision and flavour, whilst Ma Khin serves up a fascinating Asian fusion using locally sourced produce.

If you love Nikkei cuisine, Manāw will have your mouth watering with its Peruvian-Japanese fusion. Ceviches with oriental nuances, tiraditos and much more.

As we finish our tour of Asia, let’s not forget to mention Indian Garden.

This international restaurant in Valencia serves curries, tandoori dishes and naan bread that are sure to delight those looking for a spicy treat.

    Winebars and tapas

Book a table at Living Bakkali, a restaurant with oriental-inspired décor where the tapas are as impressive as the setting, or at La Diez, where you can enjoy sweet potato fries and crispy broccoli alongside a traditionally prepared Milanese cutlet.

You can also enjoy Peruvian-style tapas at Quina or pair dishes with fine wine at Borgia Winebar + Spirits.

    Hold on, there’s more.

Special mention goes to Doña Petrona, which serves everything from breakfast and lunch to snacks, dinner and even drinks, as well as ALEGAL and Pasqual + Sheila, two establishments that break the mould of traditional cuisine.

    How about that!
